Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring quality delivery of Facility Management Operations and Capital Planning. This role ensures all contract deliverables with internal maintenance teams and third-party service providers are met or exceeded. Key focus areas include uptime of systems and equipment, service improvements, adoption of best practices, standardization across facilities, cost savings initiatives, and capital planning to meet operational goals and regulatory requirements.

The role collaborates with the leadership team to develop and implement a consumer-centric distribution and transportation strategy and to manage the Operational Excellence organization. Collaboration with Shared Service, SC Operations, and other functional areas is required to drive the overall supply chain strategy for ADUSA.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with leadership in the development and evolution of supply chain strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide strategic direction for implementation of strategies within Distribution & Transportation (D&T) that align with ADUSA’s overall strategies.
  • Provide strategic direction for the evolution of the Facilities & Maintenance organization.
  • Create a critical parts program with defined minimum/maximum levels and roll it out across the facilities network.
  • Develop and implement an asset management program; review reliability, downtime, and end-of-life of all equipment with safety and cost as the foundation.
  • Ensure facility and maintenance procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Hold monthly reviews of all facility and maintenance KPIs against contractual obligations with service providers.
  • Create and enforce timely submission of all capital project budgets.
  • Manage the performance of maintenance for all sites, ensuring contract deliverables are met within prescribed budgets.
  • Conduct facility inspections for quality assurance on a defined timeframe.
  • Provide leadership that motivates employees and promotes change and growth.
  • Foster associate engagement and ensure associates understand their role and impact on performance.
  • Promote consistent high performance and execution with excellence; govern by principles, financial constraints, and strategy while remaining adaptable.
  • Develop, plan, and manage associate talent and performance; maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors; leverage scale in negotiations.
  • Lead communication with internal/external partners and the vendor community.
  • Maintain high organizational and industry credibility to succeed in the role.
