Our Sheet Metal Technician earns $25.00 - $30.00/hour.

Schedule
:
Normal working hours are 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday.

You provide invaluable assistance and support throughout various ductwork and sheet metal projects, working closely with experienced technicians to perform an excellent job. Following all instructions and specifications, you help with tasks like fabricating HVAC ductwork, installing metal panels, and repairing roofing structures. Safety, precision, and quality are your main focuses, and your hard work drives company success and customer satisfaction.

Our service area covers locations within one hour of Portland.

MUST-HAVE TECHNICAL ABILITIES

• Minimum of 3 years of sheet metal experience required
• Ability to trim and shape sheet metal using shears and saws
• Ability to secure components with rivets, welding, or adhesives
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations like fractions and angles
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication plans
• Familiarity with hand and power tools, such as snips, drills, grinders, and rivet guns
• Knowledge about PPE and safe working practices, including safely lifting, transporting, and positioning sheet metal pieces
