Travel RN - PACU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Post Anesthesia Care night shift position requiring at least 2 years of PACU experience.

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required at time of consideration
• BLS and other AHA certifications required, non-AHA certifications accepted at submission but AHA must be completed before start
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

• Surgery center setting within the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Night shift schedule, working 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 16-week contract assignment
• Floating required within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed
• Uses Epic EMR
• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to surgical patients recovering from anesthesia
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any Maine Health facility are considered local and not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• Candidates who have worked at any Maine Health facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
