RN – Post Anesthesia Care (PACU) | Travel

Scarborough, ME | Ambulatory Surgery Center

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | 16-Week Assignment

• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in an ambulatory surgery center setting
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness throughout the recovery process
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safe and timely patient transitions through the PACU
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

• Active RN license in the state of Maine or compact license eligibility
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU or post-anesthesia care nursing experience
• Ability to work night shifts, including Fridays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PACU or surgical setting
• Familiarity with ambulatory or outpatient surgery center workflows
• Experience with a diverse patient population across a range of surgical specialties

• Opportunity to work in a focused surgical environment with a defined 16-week contract and a projected start date of November 2026
