Description
At Piper Shores, our 5-star CMS-rated Skilled Nursing neighborhood serves just 40 residents, with an overnight team of two nurses and two CNAs. That means you’ll work alongside an experienced care team throughout your shift.
Our staff are fully trained and prepared to manage night-time behaviors sometimes experienced by older adults living with dementia such as sun downing or interrupted sleep cycles with compassion, confidence, and a person-centered approach.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
Sign-on Bonus: $15,000 paid in your first paycheck!
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Skilled Nursing residents.
- Assess and respond to resident needs and changes in condition.
- Collaborate with the overnight nursing and C.N.A. team.
- Provide calm, confident support to residents experiencing dementia-related behaviors.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and required standards of care.
- Current Maine RN or LPN license.
- CPR certification or ability to obtain it upon hire.
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- A compassionate, team-oriented approach to caring for older adults.
