CDL A Local Delivery Driver – Scarborough, ME

Apply for the CDL A Local Delivery Driver role at Drive My Way. This non‑union position requires start times between 12 am and 5 am. The driver will deliver products, including temperature‑controlled foods, safely and on time within the Scarborough, ME area. Responsibilities include stocking the truck, driving to stores/warehouses, unloading, and returning home in the evening.

• Hourly Pay: $28.60
• Competitive hourly rate with approximately 40 average hours per week

• Home every day
• Shift: Monday‑Friday
• Start times between 12 am and 5 am
• Route:
  Maine, local driving on a cross‑dock
• Level of touch: touch freight
• Delivery routes may require routine lifting and stepping on and off the truck at each stop

• Automatic transmission

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid CDL A license
• 1 year verifiable driving experience preferred
• Proven safe driving behavior and no serious driving convictions in the last 5 years
• No DUIs/OWIs within the last 5 years
• Registered with the FMCSA’s Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Must successfully pass DOT pre‑employment drug test, DOT physical, MVR and national background screen
• Basic understanding of temperature‑controlled food transportation preferred
• Able to use smartphones or tablets and ELD for logging positions and driving times
• Display flexibility toward daily changing routes and working times
• Customer‑oriented attitude, displaying our values to customers
• General understanding of vehicle mechanics to convey problems in case of breakdowns and perform basic repairs
• Live within 50 miles of Scarborough, ME
