Salary: £88 – £110 per day

GSL Education are seeking a proactive Behaviour Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist secondary provision supporting pupils with challenging behaviour in the Scarborough area.
About the SchoolThe provision offers a structured and supportive environment for pupils who require a more flexible and personalised approach to learning. Staff focus on consistency, clear expectations and positive behaviour support.
Behaviour Teaching Assistant Responsibilities- Support pupils in managing behaviour and accessing learning.
- Implement behaviour support and de-escalation strategies.
- Promote positive routines, boundaries and expectations.
- Support classroom and intervention-based learning.
- Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams.
- Experience supporting behaviour in education or youth settings.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
- Resilience, patience and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
