Position: Maths Teacher (Permanent, Contract, Temporary, Part Time)
Academics Ltd is working closely with secondary schools throughout Scarborough and surrounding areas to recruit Maths Teachers who can deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Schools are looking for confident practitioners who can build mathematical understanding, promote problem-solving skills, and support pupils of all abilities to make strong progress. Opportunities are available for day-to-day supply, longer-term roles, and potential permanent appointments.

The Role

Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4

Plan and deliver lessons that promote reasoning, fluency and problem solving

Prepare students for GCSE examinations

Use effective differentiation to meet a range of learning needs

Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement

Work collaboratively within Maths departments

Who We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

Mathematics subject specialism

Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools

Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

Positive, adaptable and student-focused approach
