TEC Partnership is made up of four colleges, two training providers, a 14-16 provision and a nursery, stretching from Scarborough to Skegness with a Nottingham based campus also. We are now looking for someone who shares that commitment to join us in the role of Employability and Placement Advisor.
Are you passionate about helping young people achieve their career ambitions? Do you thrive on building relationships, creating opportunities, and making a real difference to learners' futures? We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated Employability and Placement Advisor to support our 16-19 learners in developing the skills, experience, and confidence they need to succeed in the world of work.
In this exciting and rewarding role, you will be responsible for securing high-quality work experience placements and creating meaningful employer engagement opportunities that enhance learners' career readiness. Working closely with curriculum teams, employers, and learners, you will help bridge the gap between education and employment, ensuring every learner has access to valuable industry experiences that support their progression into employment, apprenticeships, or further study.
You will play a vital role in building strong partnerships with local, regional, and national employers, delivering impactful employability activities, and equipping learners with the tools they need to thrive in their chosen careers.
You will be an enthusiastic, organised, and people-focused professional who is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential. You'll be confident building relationships with employers, engaging learners, and creating opportunities that help students develop the skills and experience needed for future success.
- Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, work placement coordination, or a similar role.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop positive employer partnerships.
- Knowledge of employability skills and the needs of 16-19 learners.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and planning skills.
- The ability to motivate, inspire, and support young people to achieve their career aspirations.
