Yorsexual health are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our well-established team in Scarborough.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop skills as the post is a progression from a Band 2 to Band 3 role within the service.

Main duties of the job

As a Healthcare Support Worker at Sexual Health, you will be part of a multi-professional team providing high standards of care to our patients. You will maintain and promote patient independence and dignity to ensure each patient receives a positive experience.

Interviews for this position will be held in person ONLY. Remote interviews will not be available.

Person Specification Experience and Knowledge
  • Detailed understanding of the role of a HCSW
  • Experience in a care setting
Skills and Attributes
  • Able to communicate well with patients and other members of staff (face to face or over the phone)
  • Basic IT skills
Education, Qualifications and Training
  • Basic literacy/numeracy skills
  • Willingness to undertake training
  • NVQ/QCF level 2 in a health related subject
