About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, resilient, and emotionally intelligent individuals to join a specialist community support team assisting a woman living independently with an acquired brain injury.

This is not a traditional domiciliary care role. The position involves working closely with one client within her own home and community, supporting independence, emotional wellbeing, daily living, and social engagement within a highly personalised support package.

The role requires patience, consistency, professionalism, and the ability to work confidently within a complex relational environment. Applicants should be comfortable supporting an individual who can at times present with behaviours that are challenging.

Successful candidates will become part of a small, specialist team focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred support that promotes dignity, autonomy, and long-term stability.

Main Duties
  • Supporting with daily routines and independent living
  • Assisting with emotional regulation and wellbeing
  • Building positive, professional therapeutic relationships
  • Supporting access to the community and activities
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary professionals and family members
  • Responding calmly and professionally in challenging situations
  • Promoting safety, structure, consistency, and independence
  • Personal care support where required
About You

  • Calm and emotionally resilient
  • Able to maintain professional boundaries
  • Strong communicators
  • Observant and reflective
  • Consistent and reliable
  • Comfortable working within complex interpersonal dynamics
  • Interested in psychology, rehabilitation, mental health, or neuro support

Experience in care is welcomed but not essential. We value attitude, maturity, and emotional intelligence as highly as previous experience.

Desirable Experience
  • Acquired brain injury
  • Mental health support
  • Autism or learning disabilities
  • Positive behaviour support
  • Community support work
  • Psychology, counselling, social care, or rehabilitation backgrounds
What We Offer
  • Specialist training and ongoing support
  • Consistent hours with one client
  • Supportive management structure
  • Opportunities for progression
  • Competitive rates of pay
  • Meaningful and rewarding long-term work
