Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Key Responsibilities
Source and engage candidates using Linked In, job boards, and Castle’s internal CRM

Conduct candidate screening calls, interviews, and suitability assessments

Write and advertise job vacancies across CV Library, Indeed, and other platforms

Build strong relationships with candidates, providing guidance and support throughout the recruitment process

Support Recruitment Consultants with shortlisting, interview coordination, and candidate management

Maintain accurate records and activity within the recruitment CRM system

Deliver a professional, consultative candidate experience aligned with Castle’s values

Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong communication skills with confidence building relationships over the phone and in person

Motivated, ambitious, and eager to develop a career in recruitment

Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems

Previous experience in customer service, sales, administration, or a target-driven environment would be beneficial

Location & Travel This role is based in Scarborough and is easily commutable from Malton, Filey, Bridlington, Pickering, and Whitby. The office is centrally located with good transport links and nearby parking.
