£75,000 to £105,000 per annum (DOE) | Permanent, full time

A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in North Yorkshire is looking for an ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified Business Services Director to take strategic ownership of a substantial client portfolio and lead the business services team.
Scarborough may not be the first place that comes to mind for a Director appointment, but the firm's position in the local and regional market makes this one worth considering, particularly for anyone after a different pace of life. What's the day to day of the role:
- Taking strategic ownership of a substantial client portfolio as trusted adviser to key clients
- Leading and developing the business services team at all levels
- Working closely with partners to shape the direction of the business services offering
- Driving business development through proposals, networking and new opportunities
- Overseeing the delivery of accounts and wider business advisory services
- Contributing to the firm's wider strategic planning and commercial success
Required skills and qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified with significant experience at director or senior manager level
- At least eight years' experience within a UK Practice environment
- Proven track record of managing and growing a substantial client portfolio at senior level
- Strong business development credentials, with the ability to convert new opportunities
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills
- Commercially astute and confident engaging at the highest levels with clients and stakeholders
