What We Offer:

Hourly Rate: £12.75 - £13.37

Working Pattern:
Night Shift (Friday / Saturday 6pm-6am; Sunday 6pm - 2am, Wednesday 6am - 1.30pm)

Eastfield, North Yorkshire (Just an 18-minute walk from Seamer train station!)

Your Role:
As a Plating Operative, you will be at the heart of our production processes, contributing to the high standards of our manufacturing operations. Your main responsibilities will include:

Understanding the tin plating process, including start-up and shut-down procedures.
Hooking/jigging and hanging components for plating.
Managing pre-plating degreasing and rinsing tank procedures, along with plating acid tank and drying procedures.
Overseeing paperwork related to components and ensuring proper organisation upon process completion.
Conducting trade effluent procedures, including hourly pH checks.
Monitoring daily addition chemicals, tin anode conditions, and hazardous waste disposal.
Familiarising yourself with emergency procedures related to chemical spills, eye wash stations, and drench showers.
Performing additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
