Overview
NEWLY INCREASED PAY RATES (earn between £504.36 and £521.63 gross per week). Join Our Team as a Stores Operative! Our client, a global leader in energy management and automation, is seeking multiple members to join their Stores and Logistics department. This role offers a dynamic environment with varied activities that support organisation and efficiency.
Responsibilities- Ensure correct materials are picked and fulfilled to other departments
- Receive and unpack shipments
- Maintain warehouse organisation
- Inventory management – storing and labelling materials correctly
- Ensure efficient stock replenishment throughout the factory
- Maintain uninterrupted production flow
- Waste management and transportation
- Transport materials and products as required
- Repackage materials and stocks for transport to other departments
- Ensure containers and requirements/requests are packed as needed
- Inspect for defects and address issues
- Handle inventory tasks and labeling
- Experience in warehousing or stores positions
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills
- Time management and efficiency
- Maintain clean and organised work areas
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move materials/containers/boxes of varying sizes and weights according to Health & Safety protocols
- IT proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently
