About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production processes. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Set up, operate and monitor machines.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Replace components such as belts, bearings, and seals.
  • Conduct continuity checks and basic diagnostics.
  • Support commissioning and testing activities.
  • Follow technical drawings and assembly instructions accurately.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure every product meets high standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient production flow and meet targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work space.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Strictly apply standardised processes in manufacturing across various tasks, including basic maintenance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to established standards to ensure the quality of operations.
  • Identify and communicate risks related to health, safety, quality, and environmental issues to the Team Leader.
  • Report all incidents and near misses, following the escalation process for any deviations.
  • Process orders accurately and promptly.
  • Develop knowledge of products and systems.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the line manager.

  • Practical aptitude for science or engineering.
  • High flexibility and dependability.
  • Motivated mindset, eagerness to learn, and a good attendance record.
