As we respond to the evolving needs of our community, we are expanding our services while remaining committed to delivering specialist care in our Palliative and End of Life Care Unit. We are delighted to introduce new services, including Respite, Convalescent Rehabilitation and Symptom Management, reflecting the increasing demand for these much-needed services, including the valued return of Respite Care. In addition, our Wellbeing services will be enhanced to provide a comprehensive programme of activities and therapies, supporting people across all areas of our care.

About the Role

Under the supervision of the registered nurse, provide a high standard of person-centred-nursing care on the In-Patient Unit.

To develop experience of palliative care and symptom control.

To participate in integrated working across all Patient Services departments, with flexibility as needed to ensure effective service delivery in all areas.

To observe and report the patient’s general condition and response to prescribed treatments to senior nursing and medical staff as appropriate.

To undertake personal care as required.

About You

If you have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in a fastpaced environment
