Job Overview

The Launch & Grow Lead is responsible for leading a team of Technical Launch Integrators to ensure plant and commercial readiness during the transfer of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes into the supply chain. The role focuses on supply chain, planning, execution of site activities from transfer through new product launch, stable production, and managing the launch & grow phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee DS, DP and/or DAP technical support and oversight for the supply chain.
  • Plan and execute DS, DP and/or DAP manufacturing site activities from transfer through new product launch and initial commercial production.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction of resources within the assigned SM or LM Platform.
  • Allocate resources to meet platform objectives and support key stakeholders.
  • Maintain alignment with R&D, Value Chain, QA, Regulatory, PES, and internal manufacturing sites.
  • Lead successful development and introduction of pharmaceutical products into internal and external manufacturing networks with external partners, MTO teams, and PC&D teams.
  • Actively participate in related MSAT Leadership Teams to drive synergies, share knowledge, and deliver value.
  • Forge partnerships with key stakeholders to develop breakthrough solutions, supporting product launches with speed to market and patient‑centered design.
  • Create a culture of empowerment, collaboration, flexibility, and competitiveness across all areas of MSAT.
  • Build capabilities, increase global business acumen, and support employee engagement.
  • Partner with R&D, VCM, and CMC teams to support robust product development and new product introduction.
  • Engage external suppliers and industry leaders to understand concepts and design options.
  • Collaborate with internal and external process engineering teams on optimization projects.
  • Lead and develop leaders and emerging talent, ensuring a diverse pipeline of high‑performing multi‑skilled leaders.
  • Drive a Credo‑based culture of engagement and development.
  • Travel internationally 20–30% of the time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific or engineering discipline (required);
    Master’s or PhD preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with field‑related centers of excellence, technical teams, R&D, or manufacturing sites.
  • Experience in design, development, and manufacturing of products in a related platform.
  • Experience directing global teams across geographic regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a diverse team and nurture an inclusive culture.
  • Experience working with external manufacturing networks and sharing best practices.
  • Ability to influence peers and leaders within the organization.
  • Strong knowledge of industry technical standards in the assigned SM or LM technology platform.
  • Knowledge and expertise in cGMP regulations.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
