Facilities Engineer – Building Safety & Fire Safety - 7009
Our client, a dynamic global bio-pharmaceutical company headquartered in Switzerland, covering multiple therapeutic areas, is looking for a German speaking Facilities Engineer for a 12 contract based in the Schaffhausen area
.
As Facilities Engineer – Building Safety & Fire Safety, you will support the planning, execution, and safe delivery of building safety and fire safety projects, while acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for fire protection and building safety topics across the site.
Main Responsibilities- Plan and execute building safety and fire safety projects (e.g. sprinkler upgrades, safety hardware upgrades)
- Project management
- Acts as one of our fire safety and building safety SMEs
- Support safety inspections, audits and interaction with authorities
- Maintain risk assessments, documentation and training materials
- Coordinate maintenance, inspections and repairs
- Collaborate in a matrix organization with EHS, Engineering and Operations
- Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- Experience with building or fire safety projects preferred
- Strong technical understanding and willingness to learn
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
