Responsibilities- Ensure business, quality, and compliance goals adhere to J&J policies, enterprise standards, and government‑issued environmental, health, safety, quality, and regulatory policies and guidelines.
- Represent the JNJ credo and quality values in contact with suppliers and comply with JNJ regulations for ethics and business conduct to strengthen the reputation of J&J.
- Act as the quality partner for all API and DP IMSC manufacturing sites and manage Medium Critical Suppliers (e.g., Comprehensive Oversight).
- Surveillance of the quality and compliance status for assigned suppliers.
- Support supplier activities such as change‑control management, deviation, escalation, complaint handling, specification alignment, and quality agreement updating.
- Lead and participate in strategic and optimization initiatives to improve EQ‑SQ management processes.
- Directly manage and coach contractors or SQ team with lower PG and indirect reports.
- Act as Global Quality Relationship Manager for assigned suppliers, providing a single aligned voice for supplier quality performance within the J&J enterprise network.
- Plan, execute, and document qualification and monitoring for suppliers sourcing APIs, API materials or DP materials.
- Perform qualification audits, technical visits, and coordinate monitoring audits at external suppliers.
- Manage change related to suppliers, including change assessment, action execution, and approval.
- Assess deviations, CAPAs, and complaints concerning suppliers.
- Provide information needed for release or rejection of suppliers in SAP.
- Establish JNJ quality requirements, quality agreements, and conduct periodic review of quality agreements.
- Coordinate qualification activities for new product introductions.
- Conduct periodic supplier performance measurements, including face‑to‑face meetings.
- Support IMSC local sites during customer and HA inspections as needed.
- Ensure supplier specification agreement and approval management.
- Interface with external business partners to drive core process reliability at external sites.
- Involve in change management, escalations, compliance issues, recalls, and field actions related to suppliers.
- Basic degree in Science, Engineering, or Technical subjects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency, e.g., MS Office and SAP.
- Excellent analytical skills to identify gaps and root causes of issues and develop solutions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines and maintain a positive attitude.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, production, quality control, or R&D in a pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology environment with proven experience in managing external manufacturing operations or quality assurance for external manufacturing.
Competency / Skill Requirements- Collaborate frequently with internal operating companies and R&D partners on product, process, project, and compliance related issues.
- Interface with internal IMSC functional groups to broker necessary technical support for external partners.
- Communicate with MSAT, DPDS, Procurement, EHS, Planning, IMSC manufacturing sites, and other quality groups within IMSC and at the enterprise level.
