Audit Senior Manager

Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek an Audit Senior Manager to join their Flushing, NY office.

• Lead complex audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with professional standards and firm policies
• Design audit strategies, identify risk areas, and manage projects within deadlines and budgets
• Review internal and external audit work, including work papers and report inputs, to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Apply GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards to evaluate accounting practices and regulatory compliance
• Assess audit requirements for clients, including SEC registrants, and identify accounting and audit risks
• Advise on complex accounting issues, regulatory changes, and technical accounting guidance
• Mentor and develop audit staff and seniors through coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing proactive guidance and acting as a trusted advisor
• Drive process improvements and implement integrated auditing technology to enhance efficiency and audit quality
• Support business development by identifying new client opportunities and contributing to firm risk management initiatives

• 10+ years of public accounting experience
• Open to industry
• Experience with publicly traded clients required
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• CPA required
• Excel experience required
