General Surgery- Physician - Schenectady, NY

St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates, is seeking an additional General Surgeon to join Ellis Medicine General Surgery at Ellis Hospital located in Schenectady, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to join a group of established general surgeons. General Surgery is the primary focus of the role and wide variety of cases are available

The surgical team at Ellis Hospital has three board certified, fellowship trained surgeons in practice together. This is a well-established surgical practice with a strong referral base. Ellis Medicine General Surgery is a high-volume surgical practice offering surgical techniques including advanced laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery.

Our board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeons specialize in gallbladder, gastrointestinal, liver, pancreas, and hernia surgery including abdominal wall reconstruction. Our surgeons are the attending surgeons for Ellis Hospital.

The team shares rotational call as a practice and provides emergency room call coverage as well.

Interested candidates should have the following:

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Surgery
• NYS License and DEA
• Training and/or experience in minimally invasive surgery is required
• Robotics training/certification is a plus
• Interest in Breast Surgery and Colonoscopies is preferred
• New and recent graduates are encouraged to apply

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

We offer a competitive base salary with earning potential through RVU-based productivity incentives and quality performance bonuses

• Competitive base salary range 460k-575k with incentives
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above

Compensation Information:
