Location- Schenectady, NY. Upstate NY, 25 minute drive to the capital city of Albany
Facility Primary Care offers a full range of health care services for the entire family, including: routine pediatric exams; adolescent medicine; routine adult and geriatric health care (including annual physicals for health maintenance, work, school or insurance); care for illness, injury and chronic medical conditions; and preventive immunizations and precautionary inoculations, as well as cancer screening and promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
Opportunity:
Full-time Family Medicine Physician
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Shared call rotation averaging about 1 in every 70 days, with RN triage
- Physician governed organization with physician led JOC
- Option for flexible schedule 3, 4, or 5 day work week
- APP Collaboration which provides an additional source of compensation
- Opportunities for teaching (1 st year AMC students and precepting NP/PA students)
- Opportunity for hybrid work in Hospital Medicine if desired
- Opportunities for physician leadership/administrative work are available if interested.
- Call Rotation rotates amongst providers at 4 sites.
Requirements:
- Board Certification
- NYS licensure and DEA
Compensation:
- Compensation is between $250,000 and $260,000. The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with state law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
- Starting Bonus of up to $75,000
- Retention Bonus of $25,000
- Resident compensation available up to 50 k per year for early sign on
- Excellent benefits; including health/vision/dental insurance
- Paid malpractice, including post-SPHP employment tail coverage
- CME time and expense allowance
- Paid time away from practice
- Retirement savings program with employer matching program
- Opportunities for hybrid work in the hospitalist division or in continuing care may be available, if desired.
- APP collaboration at practice site may provide additional source of compensation.
- Opportunities for physician leadership/administrative work are available for those interested (SPHPMA & IHANY committees, JOCs, etc.).
- Opportunities for teaching 1st year AMC students as well as precepting NP/PA students are plentiful within the medical group.
