Technical Program Manager – Finance Technology

Location: New York / Remote (US, East Coast)

Contract: 3 months (with potential to extend)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Rate: $130-$160 per hour C2C

We are partnering with a rapidly growing international technology company investing in its finance systems and technology infrastructure to support continued growth and operational efficiency.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the delivery of key finance technology initiatives, including Net Suite, system integrations, and other finance applications.

Working closely with senior Finance and Technology stakeholders, you will take ownership of program planning, delivery governance, change management, and implementation partner coordination, ensuring projects are delivered successfully and aligned with business priorities.

This is a hands‑on contract opportunity suited to someone who can quickly establish delivery priorities, bring structure to ongoing initiatives, and make an immediate impact.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of finance technology programs, including new system implementations, integrations, and upgrades.
• Own and manage the integrated Finance Technology roadmap, covering milestones, dependencies, resources, and critical paths.
• Partner with Finance leadership, system owners, and external implementation partners to define priorities, scope, and delivery objectives.
• Establish and manage program governance, including steering committees, delivery reviews, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Oversee system implementations from initiation through testing, go‑live, cutover, and post‑implementation support.
• Manage third‑party implementation partners and SaaS vendors, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards.
• Own and improve change management processes using Jira, covering requests, approvals, testing, and releases.
• Drive continuous improvement across program delivery, leveraging automation and AI‑enabled tools to improve reporting and efficiency.
• Ensure finance technology initiatives support compliance requirements and business scalability.

• 6+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Project Management, or Technology Transformation.
• At least 3 years of experience delivering finance technology programs.
• Strong experience with Net Suite and associated finance systems, integrations, or ERP transformation initiatives.
• Proven track record of delivering at least two full‑lifecycle finance system implementations or major integrations.
• Good understanding of core finance processes, including Record‑to‑Report (R2R), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Quote‑to‑Cash (Q2C), and Treasury.
• Experience managing integrations between ERP platforms and adjacent finance applications, including upstream and downstream dependencies.
• Experience working in a SOX‑controlled environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior Finance and Technology leadership.
• Experience managing external vendors, implementation partners, and SaaS providers.
• Strong program governance, change management, and delivery management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage evolving priorities, and drive delivery in fast‑paced environments.
• Experience supporting high‑growth, rapidly scaling, or complex international organizations.
• Background in technology, SaaS, or similarly fast‑paced environments.
• Experience delivering finance systems transformation across multiple applications and business functions.
• PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled project management and reporting tools.
