OverviewA leading broadband organization is seeking a Broadband Network Strategy & GIS Analyst to help determine where the company should expand its network next. This role sits at the intersection of broadband network strategy, GIS/geospatial analysis, market expansion, competitive intelligence, and data analytics.
The individual will analyze existing network footprints, potential serviceable locations, competitive providers, demographics, broadband availability, market density, geospatial data, and financial considerations to identify and prioritize potential network expansion opportunities.
The goal is straightforward:
Where should we expand the broadband network next, and why does the opportunity make sense?
This is not a traditional GIS Analyst position or a network engineering role. GIS is an important part of the position, but the successful candidate will use geospatial information as part of a much broader broadband expansion and investment strategy.
