Overview
Become a Cookie Cupboard Assistant on the Girl Scout Cookie Team! The role is full‑time seasonal, scheduled from late January through mid‑March with possible extension. You will work in the cookie cupboard(s) at our Schererville Gathering Place, interact with Girl Scouts, volunteers, and staff, maintain paperwork, update the electronic ordering system, and coordinate restock orders.
Hours & Availability- Monday – Wednesday, Friday 10:00 – 17:00
- Thursday 10:00 – 18:00
- Saturday 09:00 – 14:00
$16 /hr
Responsibilities- Work in cookie cupboard(s), associate with volunteers and staff, maintain paperwork and update electronic ordering system
- Oversee and coordinate cookie cupboards at designated site(s)
- Be trained to use point‑of‑sales system to process orders
- Keep inventory of cookies and complete necessary paperwork
- Submit cupboard cookie restock orders to appropriate team members as needed
- Communicate regularly with volunteers and employees from all teams
- Contribute to the betterment of the Girl Scout movement and the cookie program
- Flexible throughout the GSGCNWI council geography; may require travel and use of personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement
- Experienced at interacting with volunteers, staff, and Girl Scouts
- Reliable, organized, and willing to maintain accurate inventory and documentation
