We are seeking an enthusiastic team member to help with maintaining a clean building and safe atmosphere for the children and assist the chef with kitchen duties.

Primrose School of Schertz located at 4993 Schertz Parkway Schertz, TX 78154 is in search of School Support Staff.

Primrose School of Schertz is an accredited private preschool that provides a premier educational child care experience. We offer year-round programs for children from infant through elementary-aged school age.

As School Support Staff at Primrose School of Schertz you will help maintain a clean environment for young minds to explore, discover and understand the world around them and assist with serving healthy and delicious meals for children.

• Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Schertz and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
• Passes out snacks, and refills water pitchers. Ensures children that have allergies and food restrictions are provided substitute items.
• Washing dishes from the serving of food items
• Disinfection of toys and the building fixtures
• Washing classroom items, such as linens, puppets, and dress up items
• Unboxes misc. items and placing them in the correct storage area
• Overall property cleaning and other misc tasks to ensure we have the best environment for our children and families
• Maintains an attractive, well-kept school that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children and families.
• Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary
  • Will consider converting to a full time position with added classroom responsibilities 9:30am
    -1:00pm
• This is a part time position:
  Monday
  - Friday 2:00pm-6:30pm

• Must meet basic education and background check requirements of local child care regulatory agency
• Must meet basic requirements of service regulatory agencies
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. in connection with the handling potential emergency situations in addition to managing heavy loads of laundry or trash
• Must be able to stand for a minimum of 5 hours without a break
