POSITION SUMMARY
Provide engineering support for the commissioning, engineering, and construction departments. Responsibilities include reviewing design documents and control drawings for potential issues, and providing recommendations and solutions as needed.
Offer engineering expertise to troubleshoot and resolve problems during any phase of construction, commissioning, or retro-commissioning.
Validate buildings' HVAC BAS (Building Automation System) in collaboration with and supporting the construction team. Execute Brandt controls commissioning processes.
Assist the engineering department with reviews, recommendations, and solutions for in-house design-build projects.
Perform functional performance testing and documentation of all equipment and systems as required per project.

- Experience in performance testing, validation, and troubleshooting of large HVAC and controls systems.
- OSHA-30 or OSHA-10 certification.
- Extensive knowledge of engineering and design techniques, including related disciplines.
- Thorough understanding of Mechanical Building Codes and Construction Standards.
- Strong knowledge of pneumatic and DDC controls and design.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and technical writing skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams; motivate subordinates.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
What you bring to the table:
- 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Completed EIT testing.
- PE license in process or completed.
- NEBB Certified Professional (preferred).
- LEED-accredited Professional (preferred).
