Multi-Unit Team Leader

Overview

Join to apply for the Multi-Unit Team Leader role at H&R Block
. You’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and lead customer-centric teams to accelerate the seasonal tax business. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. You will start a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time January–April; in-person work is required.

• Provide leadership and development of associates across three offices
• Deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office growth objectives
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates
• Create associate work schedules and manage timekeeping and labor across offices
• Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions
• Travel between offices as required
• Prepare tax returns as needed after successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment

• People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates
• Aptitude for growth plan execution and leading toward a growth culture
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
• Computer proficiency with MS Office
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course
