This full-time, on-site Roofer role is based in Schertz, TX and involves installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofs for residential and commercial properties. Day-to-day tasks include preparing job sites, measuring and cutting roofing materials, installing shingles and other roofing systems, and applying waterproofing and insulation products. The roofer will inspect existing roofs for damage or wear, identify necessary repairs, and complete work in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.

The role also involves working at height with proper fall protection, handling tools and equipment safely, and collaborating with team members to complete projects on schedule and to quality expectations.

• Experience with roofing systems, including installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs.
• Skills in carpentry for framing, decking, and structural roof components.
• Ability to install and work with insulation materials for energy efficiency and comfort.
• Proficiency in working at height using ladders, scaffolding, and fall protection equipment.
• Knowledge of waterproofing techniques and materials to prevent leaks and moisture damage.
• Understanding of basic construction safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, measurements, and basic construction drawings.
• Physical ability to lift materials, work outdoors in varying weather, and perform manual labor.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team. environment.
• Previous roofing or construction experience preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
