Security Consultant

Role Summary

As a Security Consultant at Zühlke, you carry out versatile consulting projects around Cybersecurity and contribute daily to making our customers' digital products, organizational structures and processes more secure.

• Address the impact, risks and vulnerabilities of security with various contact groups, balancing security, business and usability.
• Provide strategy consulting, secure design principles, web security, network security, data protection and privacy advice across industries from start‑ups to multinationals.
• Serve as a coach and leader, mentoring teammates while independently delivering challenging client mandates.
• Advise customers on a wide range of information and IT security issues, communicating effectively at all levels from developer to C‑level, and maintaining trust in challenging situations.

• At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role in medium to large solution projects.
• Strong knowledge and experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • GRC, ISMS and regulatory security topics
  • Data Privacy and AI security
• A completed university degree (university of applied sciences, ETH, or university) in cybersecurity, computer science or a related field.
• Distinct passion for cybersecurity, with a preference for a strong balance between project efficiency and quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills; business‑fluent German is a must, proficient command of English.
• Ability to act as a role model, mentor teammates, and manage client relationships independently.
• Comfortable addressing challenging topics and defending positions, while maintaining calm under pressure.
