Role OverviewAs a Security Architect at Zühlke, you will deliver diverse consulting and implementation projects around cybersecurity in enterprise and cloud environments. You develop architectures and designs in high‑security contexts, advising clients on technical topics such as IAM, AuthN/AuthZ, Zero Trust, Container Security, Threat Modeling, and Resilience.
Responsibilities- Provide expertise in security architecture, secure design principles, web security, network security, data protection, and privacy.
- Advising clients on security risks, mitigation strategies, and how to balance security, business, and usability.
- Lead consulting engagements and mentor teammates as a coach and leader.
- Communicate complex security concepts to all audience levels, from developers to C‑level executives.
- Drive projects to successful delivery while maintaining high quality and efficiency standards.
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role on medium to large solution projects.
- Strong knowledge and experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Secure SDLC and adjacent topics
- Data Privacy and AI security
- Completed university degree (university of applied sciences, ETH, or university) in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills; business‑fluent German is a must, and proficient command of English.
- Distinct passion for cybersecurity and the ability to strike a balance between project efficiency and quality standards.
- Comfortable addressing challenging topics and defending positions with confidence.
