Microcaps is an ETH Zurich spin-off founded in March 2019. Our unique technology allows us to produce highly precise and innovative microcapsules that empower materials to unlock new capabilities; all tailored to various markets from cosmetics to nutraceutical and pharma.

Our first commercial focus is a genuine breakthrough for the perfume industry:
alcohol‑free fine fragrances
. We already have our first products on the market with reputable brand partners and are now preparing global launches to establish Microcaps as the reference for next‑generation fragrance bases.

With our dedicated perfume factory being finalized in 2025, our mission for 2026 is clear:
make alcohol‑free fine fragrance available worldwide.

To strengthen our Operation steam in Schlieren (ZH) and Worben (BE) we are looking for a

Supply Chain Junior Manager, 80-100%

As Supply Chain Junior Manager , you own the flowof materials end to end – from raw material sourcing to the shipment of finished bulk to our customers. You report directly to our Chief Customer Delivery Officer and work hand in hand with Commercial, Production, Product Development and Quality. Around 20% of your time you spend at our factory in Worben, where you plan the production campaigns on site and keep inventoryunder control.

You are also the Supply Chain key user of our ERP and shape yourown workflows in it.

Your role includes:

• Supply Chain & Production Campaigns Planning
• Inventory & Warehouse – Worben factory (around 20% onsite)
• ERP key user

• Planthe production campaigns on site in Worben together with Commercial, Production,Product Development and Quality
• Secureraw material and component availability for every campaign
• Translate the customer forecast and the campaign calendar into a rolling material and capacity plan, including lead times and safety stocks
• Operationalraw material and component management: sourcing, requests for quotation, priceand lead-time negotiations, framework agreements
• Create purchase orders for the Supply Chain area and support the other departments with their purchase orders in our ERP
• Support and develop inventory management at the Worben factory: stock counts and cycle counts, stock accuracy in ERP, batch and expiry tracking (FIFO/FEFO)
• Setand maintain stock parameters (reorder points, min/max, safety stocks)
• Ownthe inbound and outbound logistics process: freight forwarders, Incoterms,delivery notes, export and customs documents, declarations of origin
• Keepdelivery and shipping documents complete and filed
• Actas escalation point for delivery issues towards suppliers and forwarders
• Actas Supply Chain key user for ERP: product creation and master data (products,suppliers, units, routes), purchase and inventory settings
• Define,document and continuously adapt your own workflows in the ERP

• Higher education in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or engineering (e.g. BSc/FH, Supply Chain Manager/in HF, Logistiker/in mit eidg.Fachausweis)
• 3–5years of hands‑on experience in purchasing, planning or logistics in a manufacturing company
• Experience with production or campaign planning and with inventory management (cycle counts, FIFO/FEFO, batch traceability)
• ConfidentERP user who enjoys defining master data and workflows;
  Odoo experience is astrong plus
• Knowledge of international logistics, Incoterms and Swiss/EU export and customs documentation is a plus
• Enjoy working in a dynamic, process- and team-oriented & communicativeenvironment; well organized, precise and hands‑on – on the factory floor asmuch as at the desk
• Analytical mindset for recognizing inefficiencies and suggesting actionable improvements
• Verygood English (B2+) is a must; good German is a strong plus for the Worben…
