About EVis Bioscience AG
EVis Bioscience is an ETH spin-off based in Schlieren that develops novel gene-delivery carriers. Our approach combines extracellular vesicles and lipid nanoparticles to deliver RNAs to targeted cells.
Laboratory TechnicianWe are seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Technician to join our research team within a project funded by an Innosuisse grant in collaboration with the University of Zürich
. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative research activities at the interface of molecular biology and advanced drug delivery strategies.
- Perform laboratory experiments in molecular biology, including standard techniques for protein analysis, such as Western Blot and gel electrophoresis.
- Support research activities related to drug delivery systems
, with a particular focus on extracellular vesicles (EVs) and synthetic lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). - Isolate, characterize, and analyze EVs using established and emerging methodologies.
- Maintain accurate experimental records, analyze data, and contribute to reports and project documentation.
- Collaborate closely with researchers and project partners involved in the Innosuisse-funded project.
- Ensure proper laboratory organization, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Degree (BSc, MSc, or equivalent) in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques.
- Experience in drug delivery systems and/or extracellular vesicles is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- >3 years of experience in a lab environment.
- Previous experience in applied or translational research projects.
- Familiarity with EV isolation, characterization techniques (e.g., NTA, Western blot, flow cytometry).

The position is offered on a fixed-term contract for 18 months
