Vivtex is a fast-paced pre‑clinical stage biotech company located in Boston, MA and Schlieren, ZH. We strive to transform oral drug delivery using a revolutionary proprietary technology (developed in the laboratory of Professor Robert Langer at MIT) that enables high throughput screening with fully intact and functional GI tissue. We are a tight‑knit interdisciplinary team that develops better and safer oral therapeutics in close collaboration with major global pharmaceutical companies.

We are currently seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic interns to contribute to the R&D program s is a fantastic opportunity for local students interested in gaining valuable hands‑on experience in a collaborative research and development setting.

• Prepare reagents and buffer solutions for experiments.
• Conduct tissue dissection procedures for in vitro studies.
• Provide experimental support to screening team as needed.
• Maintain and complete accurate laboratory notebook.
• Provide support for the laboratory and waste management.

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in an undergraduate degree program in Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field at a university local to Schlieren, ZH
• Solid foundation in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related discipline, exemplified through hands‑on research experience in a chemistry‑focused laboratory setting
• Familiarity with analytical techniques, experience with LC-MS is considered a strong asset
• The role can be offered as a 40 – 100% position. The candidate must be available from 8 AM to 4 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays
