Sales Account Manager – Flow Cytometry

We are looking for a Sales Account Manager for Sony Biotechnology with strong expertise in Flow Cytometry to manage and further develop the French-speaking market in Western Europe.

This is a unique opportunity to join a market-leading innovator in flow cytometry and cell sorting, driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies within leading research institutes, pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology organisations, and clinical laboratories.

In this highly visible commercial role, you will take ownership of a strategically important territory, developing new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships. You will be responsible for selling Sony's portfolio of flow cytometry instruments and related solutions
, managing complex sales cycles and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

Reporting directly to the European Head of Sales
, you will play a key role in accelerating Sony Biotechnology's market presence across the region.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in flow cytometry and cell sorting
, a strong network within the flow cytometry community, and demonstrated success in capital equipment sales
, combined with a resilient, hunter‑oriented mindset.

• Plan and run personal business portfolio/territory, achieve forecasted sales goals while preserving acceptable gross profit levels
• Plan and execute sales, funnel-building activities that ensure sales satisfaction and growth of the Sony Biotechnology portfolio
• Provide forecasts, reports, marketing intelligence and information to the business
• Develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and maintain sales activities in Salesforce (CRM)
• Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales and integrate personal sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions, and telemarketing
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information

• Strong experience selling flow cytometry capital equipment and handling complex, consultative sales processes.
• Deep technical knowledge of flow cytometry, with the ability to engage confidently with researchers and laboratory decision-makers.
• Established network within the flow cytometry and life sciences research community.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and consistently exceed sales targets.
• Fluent English and French, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
