Newmark K-8 School and Newmark High School are state‑approved, private not‑for‑profit institutions dedicated to serving children with autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention issues, and other developmental disabilities. We are seeking a Speech Correction & Language Specialist Therapist who is dedicated, compassionate, and ready to bring their expertise and heart into a school that values innovation, support, and collaboration.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each student’s unique speech and language strengths and needs.
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate evidence‑based speech and language interventions for individuals and small groups, ensuring alignment with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with Classroom Teachers and staff to integrate speech and language strategies into daily instruction and classroom activities.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments—including formal evaluations and informal observations—to determine students’ communication abilities and identify areas for support.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology, Linguistics, or a related field required;
  Master’s Degree preferred.
• Valid NJDOE Certification and Speech Pathologist License.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably with students with autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention issues and/or other developmental disabilities.
• Demonstrated creativity, flexibility, and perseverance in addressing challenging learning, behavioral, family, and classroom situations.
• Proficiency in using innovative instructional strategies and technology to enhance student learning.
