Physical Therapist – Full Time/Part Time

Scott Physical Therapy is a well‑respected outpatient orthopedic and manual therapy clinic in the greater Lafayette area. We treat a vast variety of diagnoses and provide individualized treatments to maximize outcomes.

• Graduate from an accredited college with an APTA curriculum (New Grads welcome).
• Orthopedic and manual therapy skills.
• Doctorate or manual therapy certification, and/or dry‑needling certification is a plus.

• Remain up to date on the Louisiana PT Practice Act.
• Conduct patient consultations, initial evaluations, treatments, re‑assessments/re‑evaluations, and discharges while teaching clients home exercise programs.
• Conduct occasional free 30‑minute screening visits and convert prospective clients into patients when appropriate.
• Bill appropriately, maximizing time with each patient and comply with state practice act, federal laws and third‑party payor rules.
• Supervise PT techs and assist front‑office staff.
• Collaborate with other PTs, doctors and referral sources as necessary.
• Pro‑actively keep patients motivated, make regular re‑activation phone calls to those who have dropped off.
• Assist in creating internal and external marketing materials such as blog posts, free tip reports, workshop events and phone calls.
• Attend all meetings (at least 5 times a month).
• Continuously improve skills and knowledge to provide excellent therapeutic outcomes and an optimal healing environment.
