What You Will Do
  • Plan, develop, and implement operational management strategy to meet performance, safety, timeliness, and budget requirements
  • Manage and control site expenditures within approved budgets and labor, supplies, and chemical usage to meet P&L standards
  • Evaluate and document sanitation processes for potential cost savings with specific recommendations and savings figures
  • Monitor, measure, and report on operational issues, opportunities, improvement plans, and achievements within agreed formats and time frames
  • Communicate daily with Area Manager to report accidents, downtime, damage, and other key plant issues; communicate with Corporate office for nightly logs, payroll, chemical and supply orders, timesheets
  • Complete weekly internal safety audits on staff and equipment to ensure a safe work environment; set, monitor, motivate, and track sanitation crew goals for safety, cleanliness, and timeliness
  • Develop, interview, hire, train, coach, motivate, evaluate, and adjust pay rates and hours for direct reporting staff; handle team member complaints, grievances, discipline, and scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with all internal company procedures and policies (Technical Services, Human Resources, Accounting, IT, customer service) and the employee handbook, safety handbook, cleaning procedure, and Corporate Authorities manual
  • Implement the company’s training programs including safety training and ERP; coordinate responses to government or customer deficiencies; report and investigate all accidents; support regulated agencies as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Your Must Haves
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to read, write, add, and subtract
  • 2 years of relevant sanitation experience
  • General working knowledge of computers/technology (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”) and work in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations
What We Prefer You Have
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2‑year degree from Community College/University
Our Environment

This position may have hot, cold, and wet conditions where the use of Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”) is required. PPE may include a hard hat, rain jacket, rain pants, boots, goggles, gloves, etc.
