The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute "start to finish" variable tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. They also support tasks like merchandise and fixture assembly and signage maintenance. The role involves interacting with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)As a High Volume FAST Team Member, you must be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling the following requirements:
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday unless otherwise dictated by business needs.
- Communicate proactively with the District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion and issues, offering solutions.
- Complete planograms and resets accurately and timely.
- Perform store-specific measurements and accurate counts for inventories and cycle counts.
- Complete the Tractor Way top cap process and store price changes accurately and timely.
- Hang store signage, including Circulars, Price Cuts, and Managers’ Specials.
- Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
- Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
- Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Add value, and Appreciate the customer. - Ensure a differentiated shopping experience.
- Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., DAT).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required. Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ years old.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.
- Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
- Self-directed with minimal assistance needed.
- Indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor lots on hard surfaces.
- Shifts generally range from 4 to over 8 hours.
- Promote safety and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Move and transfer merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Push/pull up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment.
- Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
- Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, and climb ladders frequently.
- Move throughout the store efficiently and safely.
- Read, write, and count accurately for documentation.
- Effective communication skills.
- Handle contact with birds/poultry.
- Complete all required training.
