Commercial Roofing Service Technician - Lafayette, LA

Location: Lafayette, LA and surrounding areas

Pay: Starting $15–$20 per hour and up, based on experience

Grizzly Commercial Roofing is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Technician to join our growing service team. This position is ideal for a dependable roofing professional who enjoys troubleshooting, completing quality repairs, and working directly with customers.

You will inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial roofing systems throughout the local service area. Our technicians work on a variety of properties and roof systems, providing steady, year-round opportunities to expand their skills.

• Diagnose roof leaks and determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Complete commercial roof repairs, maintenance, and small-scope projects.
• Inspect roofing systems and document conditions with photos and service notes.
• Work with TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, coatings, and related systems.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide clear updates on completed work.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Follow company safety standards and jobsite requirements.
• Complete daily service documentation accurately and on time.

• Commercial roofing repair or installation experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of common low-slope roofing systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a two-person service team.
• Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for photos and service documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely climb ladders, lift materials, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable attendance and a professional, customer-focused attitude.

  Starting $15-$20 per hour and up, based on experience
