Forklift Operator PT

Part‑time, Monday‑Friday, various shifts – starting at $18.71 per hour.

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for a part‑time Forklift Operator at our Scott, LA service center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53' long
• Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock
• Maintain a safe working environment in a fast‑paced setting

• Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to read manifests and interact with a computer display
• Forklift experience
• Dependable and able to work in a fast‑pace environment

• Previous forklift experience in a fast‑paced environment
• Some LTL experience
