OverviewWe, Business Unit (BU) Specialized, are part of the Tube Division within Alleima Group, a world‑leading producer and supplier of specialized tubular products for growing key market segments such as Aerospace, Medical, and Hydrogen. Our products are corrosion‑resistant alloys based on stainless steel, nickel, titanium, and more.
Your Role Duties- Perform routine mechanical tests on produced tubing, such as flare, flatten, and flanging.
- Review samples against Lab Sample Sheets for accuracy and conformance.
- Prepare subcontractor purchase orders for required testing.
- Review and approve subcontractor test results against STC purchase order requirements; upon completion, prepare preliminary test reports.
- Review the accuracy and completeness of manufacturing packets and final test certifications, ensuring all supporting documentation is accurate and available. Sign off and release final certification packets.
- Review shop routers against customer purchase orders for correctness (tolerances, testing, etc.) and prepare quality test plans for attachment to routers. Upon completion, release routers to Production.
- Maintain the Calibration Program for Measuring & Test Equipment (M&TE), including calibration of internal micrometers and other manufacturing tools and gauges.
- Assist Quality personnel in the formulation, maintenance, and compliance of the Quality Assurance (QA) Manual, QA Procedures, and Work Instructions to ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and NCA 3800 standards.
- Support Quality Assurance personnel during internal audits, customer audits, and other quality‑related activities as needed.
- Perform in‑process and final inspections of materials, components, and finished products to verify conformance with specifications, drawings, and standards.
- Utilize appropriate measurement tools, gauges, and testing equipment to ensure product quality.
- Record and analyze inspection and test data, identifying trends or recurring issues and communicating findings to relevant departments.
- Participate in or lead root‑cause analysis and corrective action activities to resolve quality issues.
- Drive or support continuous improvement projects within the quality area.
- Provide guidance, training, and technical support to team members on inspection processes and quality standards.
To succeed, you should have a can‑do attitude and possess a strong work ethic. You should have a track record of dependability and safety, be willing to learn on the job, and respect and encourage safety and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). A high school diploma or GED is required.
