Job Responsibilities:

Teach/tutor in-center using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices

Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting

Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions

Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment

Support various administrative tasks and projects around the center

Communicate student progress with parents and guardians

Required Qualifications:

Passion for and great working with kids -- fun, patience, encouragement, empathy

Team player

Driven & motivated; desire to lean in and grow within the organization; interest in taking on new projects; seeking promotion to Lead Instructor, Assistant Center Director, and beyond

Eagerness to learn and be trained

Positive attitude; we are looking for outgoing "people people" who value positivity and fun!

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfort speaking with students and parents

Desire and ability to teach

Hours availability

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching experience

Passion for math

Strong math competency through at least Algebra I

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and successfully complete a background check, in accordance with applicable California law.
