Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Incoming QA Inspector for a reputable client based in California. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all incoming materials and products adhere to quality standards while promoting process improvements across inspection and supply chain procedures. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise and a commitment to optimizing quality assurance processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing the efficiency of incoming material handling.

Collaboration with cross‑functional teams is essential to identify enhancement opportunities, resolve quality issues, and uphold stringent standards for incoming materials.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed inspections, testing, and sampling of incoming materials and products to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Actively identify areas for process optimization and implement solutions that improve quality control workflows, reduce waste, and enhance overall inspection efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including production, procurement, and engineering, to address quality issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Utilize data from inspections and testing to identify trends, make informed decisions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the inspection and supply chain processes.
  • Maintain accurate, organized records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions, ensuring transparency and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that all incoming materials meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, including ISO, ASTM, and relevant local or global standards.
  • Lead or support process improvement projects aimed at enhancing quality, reducing cycle time, and increasing the efficiency of incoming quality inspections.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in a technical field, a relevant technical certification, or a Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance, inspection, or process improvement, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Proven experience in identifying process inefficiencies and leading improvements within quality assurance workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights to improve processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality standards (ISO, ASTM, FDA) and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high‑quality standards in all aspects of the role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 1st shift.
