Your Day-to-day
As a Compliance Accountant, you engage in critical tasks that drive our finance department forward. You prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns while keeping a close eye on tax law changes to assess their impact. You ensure the timely renewal of business licenses, proactively managing any issues with regulatory agencies. Overseeing the integration of accounting software, you train staff on proper usage to maintain data integrity.

Serving as a key resource, you develop educational materials that help teams align with compliance standards. You also support audits and prepare compliance reports, all while identifying tax savings opportunities that benefit the organization.

Here's What We Need From You

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounting
• Proficient with MS Office products, especially Excel spreadsheets
• Understanding of various tax rules and business licensing requirements at the federal, state, and local levels
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong research and attention to detail skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Tax and compliance experience is preferred
