Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiology Physician to join our esteemed healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cardiology and demonstrate proficiency in various medical practices related to cardiovascular health. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, diagnosing and treating heart-related conditions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients with cardiovascular concerns.
- Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and management of patient records.
- Perform diagnostic tests including cardiac catheterization and medical imaging to evaluate heart conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and lifestyle modifications.
- Provide perioperative care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including critical care experience when necessary.
- Educate patients on heart health, preventive measures, and lifestyle changes to improve their overall well-being.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance cardiology practices and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality of patient information.
- You must be certified in Internal Medicine – this is necessary.
- You should be either certified in Cardiovascular Disease or working towards certification within 5 years of finishing your residency – this is also necessary.
- You need a Nebraska medical license (or you should be in the process of getting one) – this is required.
- You must have completed your Fellowship before starting the job – this is necessary.
- Having a clean malpractice record is good but not required.
- You need to have a DEA registration (this must be obtained before starting the job).
- You must be board certified.
- You need to have a license to practice in Nebraska.
- You should be trained in a fellowship program.
