Payment Operations Manager Platte Valley Bank

Job Summary:

Responsiblefortheoversightanddailyoperationofthe Bank'spaymentsystems,includingACH,wire transfers,digital payments,real-timepaymentsolutions,andothermoneymovementservices.

Ensurefundsmoveefficiently,accurately,andsecurelywhilemaintainingcompliancewithapplicableregulations,network rules,andinternalpolicies.

Activelyparticipatesinpaymentoperationswhileoverseeingriskmanagement,process improvement,vendor relationships,andsystemenhancements.

Partnership with Treasury Management ,Retail Banking,Information Technology,Compliance,andDataOperationsteams to improve efficiencies,enhancepaymentcapabilities,andsupportthe

Bank'sgrowthobjectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

ManagethedailyoperationsofACH,wire transfer,digital payment,andrelatedpaymentservices.

Activelyparticipateinpaymentprocessing,exception resolution,customer escalations,andoperationalsupport.

Provide guidance,training,andsupportto

Payment

Operationsstaff.

Monitorservicelevels,operational performance,payment volumes,andkeyriskindicators.

Maintainpaymentprocedures,controls,andbusinesscontinuityplans.

EnsurecompliancewithNACHArules,wire regulations,OFACrequirements,BSA/AMLexpectations,and Bank policies.

Participateinmonitoringofpaymentactivityforfraudtrends,unusual transactions,andoperationalrisk.

Leadresolutionofcomplexpaymentissues,audits,examinations,andriskassessments.

Identifyandimplementprocessimprovements,automation opportunities,andworkflowenhancements.

Manage payment-relatedsystemupgrades,software implementations,andvendorrelationships.

Collaborate with Treasury Managementandbusinesslinetostsupportcustomerpaymentneedsandproductgrowth .

Researchemergingpaymenttechnologiesandrecommendenhancementsthatimproveefficiency,scalability,andcustomerexperience.

Preparemanagementreportsregardingpaymentactivity,risk trends,operational performance,andstrategicinitiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor'sdegreein

Business,Finance,Accounting,Information Systems,orrelatedfieldpreferred.

Minimumfiveyearsofbankingorfinancialservicesexperienceinpaymentoperations,treasury management,electronic payments,ACH,wire transfer,ordepositoperations.

Supervisoryorteamleadexperiencepreferred.

StrongknowledgeofACHprocessing,wire operations,digitalpaymentsolutions,andpaymentriskmanagement.

ThoroughunderstandingofNACHArules,RegulationE,OFACrequirements,andBSA/AMLcompliance.

Demonstratedexperiencewithprocessimprovement,system enhancements,andprojectimplementation.

Strong analytical,organizational,problem solving,andcommunicationskills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Officeandbanking /paymentprocessingsystems.

AccreditedACHProfessional(AAP) certification preferred.

CandidatesnotcurrentlyholdingthethedesignationmustobtainAAPcertificationwithineighteen(18) monthsofassumingtherole.

Abilitytomaintainconfidentialityandexerciseoutsanjudgmentregardingsenstiveoperationalinformation.

Physical Requirements:
