Position: Radiologic Technologist ARRT with CMA

About the Role

The Radiologic Technologist ARRT with CMA at Regional West Physicians Clinic (RWPC) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care. The ARRT/CMA is responsible for taking diagnostic x-ray exams without limitations and performing related duties. Ensuring appropriate patient confidentiality in a professional manner, the ARRT/CMA assists with medical procedures and performs general duties for the physician or provider according to established policies and procedures.

Additionally, the role requires maintaining detailed patient records and managing imaging equipment to uphold operational efficiency. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to the clinic’s mission of providing exceptional healthcare through expert imaging services and compassionate patient interaction.

Education
  • Graduate of accredited ARRT Radiologic Technology Program
  • Credentialed by a nationally recognized CMA or RMA registry within 12 months
Certification
  • Valid ARRT Radiography registration
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required upon hire
  • MRI Screening Form required upon hire
L icensure
  • Current state of Nebraska Medical Radiographer license
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant within 12 months of hire
Experience
  • One year of radiography experience, preferred
Skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of radiographic procedures, anatomy, and radiation safety.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Experience working in an outpatient clinic or hospital setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records EMR systems and digital imaging software.
Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring proper function and safety compliance.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to review imaging results and provide necessary technical support.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including documenting procedures performed and any relevant observations.
  • Adhere strictly to radiation safety standards and infection control policies to protect patients and staff.
  • Assist with administrative duties related to imaging services, including scheduling and inventory management.

A conditional job offer is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test and background checks. A Physical Capacity Profile may be required for some positions.
