Pharmacy Technician-Medication History

Regional West Health Services is an independent, integrated health care delivery system based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska
. We are actively looking for caring individuals to join the team as a Pharmacy Technician-Medication History.

• Maintain a good working knowledge of common outpatient medication names, doses, and dosage forms.
• Prioritize patients to interview with respect to physician request, pharmacist request, nurse request, or acuity of need.
• Adapt to changes in workload and schedule to meet patient needs.
• Obtain accurate home medication history by chart review, patient interview, and phone calls to retail pharmacies and physician offices if necessary.
• Verify patient allergy information and ensures complete documentation with regard to substance, allergy category, reaction description.

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have no drug related felony or misdemeanors
• Are a Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPhT)

You will be asked to register with the State of Nebraska as a Pharmacy Technician prior to your start date.
